English Mass (updated 2016)

Notre Dame Cathedral

Next to the province of Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh City has the 2nd largest concentration of Catholics.  Therefore, Catholic Mass is celebrated in Saigon but mostly in Vietnamese.  Below is the schedule of English Mass Celebration:

    Unfortunately we don’t arrive in HCM City until 11.30am, so too late for the 9.30am Holy Mass. We have to leave by 4.30pm. Any suggestions for masses anywhere in HCM in any language?

    Hello, we are Staying at the Grand Silverlands and spa from the 28th June to the 4th July and would like to attend daily mass. Looks like there is one at 5am and 5 pm. Please confirm this with me and let me know how far it is from the hotel to Notra Dam Cathedral or if there is anything closer.

      Hi. I haven’t actually attended the early morning mass here. But this is stated in the announcement by the church gates. Mass would be in Vietnamese. And yes this is the nearest to your hotel.

      Hi, There’s a daily mass in the cathedral at 530 am and 530 pm. But it’s in Vietnamese. If you want to attend the First Friday Mass in English, you can go to the Pastoral Center at 6 BIS Ton Duc Thang St., District 1. Mass starts at 6PM.

      Hi Barry and Lyra, I just got the news that there will be an English Mass for the All Saints Day tomorrow at the Pastoral Center (6bis Tôn Đức Thắng st., District 1). The mass will be at 6:45pm at the old chapel. Fr. Joseph Vũ will celebrate it.
