So this morning, we headed out to Crescent Mall for the Terry Fox Run — which was really more of a walk because it was too difficult to run with so many people! But if the number of people translates to the number of people who made donations to cancer research, then the run is a huge success!
I ran with my husband and son (in the stroller) and a friend from advertising. Mostly, my friend and I talked in between bursts of sprint (or maybe the other way around). We finished the run over an hour because it was just too darn difficult to navigate the course with so much people who just wanted to walk.
The run started late at past 8 am but it was lucky that we were blessed with cloudy skies and sunny weather.
See you again next year for the Terry Fox Run 31.
