I’ve been hanging around the Post Office too much that I’ve lost other subjects to take photos of. But despite the fact that I’m almost always around this area, I’ve never gotten over how nice the place is and the Notre Dame Cathedral across it.
When I brought my officemate to send postcards here last week, she was surprised that it was actually a nice place. To think she’s been here in Saigon since November and lives just a couple of blocks away!
If you look closely, the front wall of the French-designed Post Office have the names of some famous French scientists on it, except for one, Benjamin Franklin. I took a photo of the name of a famous physicist and mathematician, Andre-Marie Ampere. Lovely details on the wall as well!
