Facebook Hires Growth Manager for Vietnam

After reading this article about Vietnam slowly allowing it’s ISPs to access Facebook again, I just had to check for myself if Facebook indeed hired a Growth Manager for Vietnam.

According to LinkedIn, Facebook has hired Tuoc Huynh to be it’s ambassador.  Tuoc also worked for Google and held management positions in Phu My Hung according to PEPWorldwide Asia.

Interesting turn of events, eh?  And according to this article, Facebook users in Vietnam continue to grow despite the government’s blockage for a year.

I need to say thank you such a lot of for that work you have made in writing this piece of writing. I am hoping the same perfect work from you in the future too.

You can always access FB, for whatever unknown reason, by using the InterNet terminals in the VNPT public office which are unrestricted (and FREE!). As you face the doors use the one on Nguyen Du on the right hand side – the terminals are right ahead of you.

Thanks Jay for the tip! I’m actually enjoying free wi-fi everywhere in Saigon. So very unlike our country where we have to pay for everything!
