Events of the year didn’t start good for me and I have been consciously neglecting going to the gym, or doing power walks, and even joining Daphne Chua’s yoga class. 😦 I actually haven’t gone back to Ja Nathan’s Zumba Class which I really miss. And it’s been pretty hectic at work too (including sidelines). But as they say, “Kung gusto, maraming paraan. Kung ayaw, maraming dahilan.” [Translation: If you want to do something, there are a lot of ways. If you don’t want to do something, you can conjure a lot of reasons not to do it.]
So this coming Saturday, I have the perfect reason to go back to the swing of things: Yoga for Charity.
Daphne will be conducting a Yoga 101 Foundation Workshop (best for beginners like me!) at the Studio A of Crescent Wellness Gym, Phu My Hung on Saturday, March 26, 2011 4pm. 50% of the proceeds of this 90-minutes session will go to the Camillo Home for the Elderly, Daphne’s chosen institution. The fee for this special session is by donation basis.
Camillo Home for the Elderly is situated at 697/485/60 Pham The Hien, Ward 4, District 8.
To reserve a mat, you can call Crescent Wellness at 54158686 local 4001 or contact Daphne at yogadaphne@gmail.com, 012 6662 6467. For more info, check www.daphnechua.com.
