Paper Shop in District 1

Yellow pad.  Found this on my desk at work this morning.  I know it’s just paper but I haven’t seen this being sold commercially in shops.  Or am I just not looking hard enough?

For some reason, here in Saigon, shops are specialized.  So you cannot expect a book store to sell the papers you need too.  Well to be fair, they do, but the options are limited.

So it’s a joy to be introduced to a specialty store selling all the papers that I’ll ever need. 🙂  Thanks to my mommy connections who brought me to Ngan Thong at 55A Pasteur St. in District 1.

Ngan Thong has specialty papers, gift wrappers, card boards, felt papers, knick knacks for scrapbook materials, stickers, and a whole lot more.  It always feel like Christmas every time I visit their shop.  It’s where I get my art materials for my son for our mini projects. 🙂

BUT they don’t sell bond papers (the thin ones). 😛  They say THAT you can get from a bookstore.  Kinda like a snob, huh?  😀

Oh and my yellow pad?  That came all the way from Manila. 🙂
