I don’t know about you but when I was a kid, I got hooked on Nissin’s Ramen Beef Flavor Noodle. It looked some kinda like this photo on the left but in it’s old blue packaging back in the 80s or early 90s.
My bro and I wouldn’t want to cook it, but we’d open it up and use the seasoning as dips. It’s just one of those odd things we’d eat. Like eating Nido Powdered Milk or Milo. Yum!
So it was kinda surprising to try this Korean (not sure) snack which I saw from a friend’s place named Ppushu Ppushu in Beef Flavor.
When you open the bag, it looks like your ordinary noodle.
But instead of the seasoning (which probably included MSG and oil), it has the barbecue or beef flavoring ala popcorn style!
So what you do is crush the noodles into bite-size pieces, pour in the flavoring and shake! Then, voila!
