It’s Christmas time once again and I’m on the search for Christmas cards to send to family and friends back home. Been seeing a lot of nice ones along Nguyen Du St. but I’m resisting the urge to buy because they’re oh so overpriced. Good thing, I received in our e-groups an advertisement on Christmas Cards made by vocational school kids (free tuition for low income families) in Thang Long School in District 4. The Saigon Children’s Charity is spearheading this project and proceeds will go to support in their mission to eradicate poverty through education.
Each card costs 15,000 VND and a set of 6 is 85,000 VND. Email them at sales@saigonchildren.com or contact Freddi at 0123 815 7508.
You can also drop by the following to buy the cards:
District 3: 59 Tran Quoc Thao from 9am to 6pm
District 2: ER Couture 2nd Floor An Phu Market
District 7: SSIS Bazaar on Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 9am to 3pm
Will definitely be at the SSIS Bazaar on Saturday to check the cards out!
Please help support these kids and let’s help eliminate poverty!
