On Christmas day, together with our friends, we all went to Cuc Gach Quan in District 1. We ate here before but with Brangelina’s visit last month with their kids to this restaurant, we just had to visit it again together with our family and friends.
Cuc Gach Quan has 2 locations but we went were Brangelina went at 10 Dang Tat St. Ward Tan Dinh in District 1.
We were around 16 people and we were all delighted to be in Cuc Gach Quan with its fantastic homey ambiance — except for my 78-year old grandmom who had a bit of a trouble climbing the planks up the second floor — but mom and I loved it!
We didn’t get to take much photos of the food but we ordered Tofu with lemongrass and chili, Shrimp in Tamarind Sauce, Morning Glory in Garlic, Pork Stew in a pot, and Sea Bass Fish Fillet. For the drinks, we tried the Cold Soya, Guava, Green Mango, and Golden Apple.
My sister ordered a softdrink but quickly asked for a Green Mango juice once she saw how fancy the drink looked — including the lopsided-looking glass.
While waiting for the food to be served, my sister left to take photos of the lovely place and the unusual presentation of the cutleries.

The dining area opposite ours…
Yup, you can eat here too…
We came at 6 PM so the place wasn’t packed yet.
But when we left around 8 PM, the place was full of people and there were still people coming in…
They also had an amazing collection of ceramic bowls…
Hope you all had a good fill this Christmas! I know we all did!
