I love videoke!  Not ONLY because I’m a Filipino — but because I just love music and I like to sing.  Unfortunately though I can’t sing these days because I tend to find myself grasping for air when hitting the notes — even if it’s not yet the high ones. 😦

But I sure had a blast last night listening to friends and family sing at a friend’s birthday party.  And although I was around Pinoy company, I realized how truly far away we are from home.  Opening the songbook was a bit of an ordeal — until you find out that the English pages were colored.

Either you end up singing in Vietnamese or —-

Chinese, or —

Korean.  Our area has a fairly large community of Koreans so it’s no wonder their songs are in the songbook too!

My friend rented the whole 2nd floor of A&B Restaurant for the party — so if you want to videoke, visit them at Sky Garden 3 in Phu My Hung.
