Friends have been raving about this new Korean place in Phu My Hung that serves delicious barbecue that I just had to try it on my birthday yesterday. 🙂
MJ’s Kitchen is located near the Saigon South International School and is housed in a villa turned restaurant. The chef is no less than the owner, MJ, a very welcoming Korean.
If you go to the building, you might mistake it for just a home but I tell you, their food is indeed something I will come back to!
The side dishes were enough to fill you up! I especially liked the sweet one below…
because it went well with the Korean Cool Noodle which was spicy in my opinion — but my hubby and friends told me it wasn’t! On my spiciness scale, this was an 8.
For soup, we had the Beef Rib Soup served boiling hot! It tasted like our Filipino version of Nilagang Baka or Bulalo! I found myself dreaming of eating Bulalo and Tawilis in Tagaytay! Sigh!
My friend’s daughter ordered fish and chips and loved it!
But most of us ordered Pork Rib Barbecue on a sizzling plate —
There was some Chicken Barbecue.
The food are priced at 12okVND, 140kVND and 350kVND but in huge servings so it’s a good place to bring the whole family.
Oh and they serve lemonade after all have finished their meal!
Visit MJ’s Kitchen at R2-38 Quam Nang 1, PMH, D7. You can call them at 08 5412 3381.
Looks delicious! Thanks for the recommendation!!
