Remember our Food Trip Bucket List? Well, we haven’t made any progress on the list. Instead, we continue to add new places we’ve discovered serving mouthwatering dishes. At the rate we’re going, we’ll never finish the lsit!
On Ria’s last trip to Hanoi, she discovered Cha Ca La Vong where grilled fish dish with dill was served. She loved it so much that she set out to find a restaurant serving this dish. And she prevailed! 😀
Tucked behind Garden Court 1 in Phu My Hung, she discovered Cha Ca Ha Noi serving authentic Hanoian dishes — and of course Ria’s new favorite dish.
The restaurant can accommodate big groups, as well as, couples on a date. There is a balance between intimate and casual ambiance.
And the best thing is that the food price IS affordable for the quality of food they serve! 😉 I promise!
We ordered Cha Ca Fish with Fresh Dill good for 6 people. Here’s half of the food kept warm over fire.
Here’s Ria — very excited to eat. She’s been asking me to eat here everyday for the last past week! 😀
Japs ordered this one but I forgot the name Bun Cha Ha Noi (Thanks Helen!). He declared this delicious and finished this one on top of the Cha Ca dish. He’s definitely coming back!
If you’re looking for a different take on Vietnamese food in Ho Chi Minh City (I know I am), the Hanoian version does not disappoint!
