Food Trip: Yeebo Seafood Restaurant

As a pre-Valentine treat, we tried out Yeebo Seafood Restaurant at the Crescent.  This restaurant has been in this area since late last year and have heard some good reviews from friends.

Located near the Cau Anh Sao bridge, it gives a nice view of the man-made lake as you wait for your food to be served.  The place is huge so this can hold a lot of people.

It’s food reminds me of President’s Restaurant and UNO in Binondo, Manila.  It has an expensive Chinese ambiance.  The pricing I think is just right for the food they serve.

Once seated, they gave us 4 menus which include the Hotpot Menu, Barbecue Menu, Seafood Menu, and the Special Selection.

It took us a while to choose what to eat from the extensive menu but we settled for the Special Selection since we have a tot in tow and didn’t want to risk accidents from ordering hotpot or barbecue.  For starters, I settled for the Asparagus and Crab Soup (4 out of 5).

Hubby ordered the Peking Duck and Pork with Seaweed (4.5 out of 5).  The seaweed is spicy but was just perfect with the Peking Duck and Pork!  I’ll order this again!

We also had the Bird’s Nest (4 out of 5).  Sam loved munching on the crunchy nest!  I enjoyed the shrimp and vegetable. 🙂

Let’s not forget the excellent Yeebo Rice (5 out of 5).  Carbo-overload!

Best of all, the service is terrific!  Oh and I didn’t take photos of the toilets but famous blogger, Chuvaness might give it a passing mark. 😀
