Scott and Binh’s Take Two!

Since 2012 rolled in, we haven’t really gone back to our usual Thursday night ritual of hanging out a friend’s house to play board games.  The start of the year has been pretty hectic for us — from overseas vacation, work, new opportunities, sickness, and departures — we haven’t really sat down and open our box of Catan.  Now, we are at the verge of having one of our friends leave for a work opportunity down under. 😦

So instead of playing board games, looks like will be having Thursday dinner nights instead so our friend can try some of the food in Saigon before he leaves.  He’s been living here for close to 3 years but yes — hasn’t really explored Saigon <insert roll eyes here>.

Yesterday was our Scott and Binh’s night.  Yay!

The last time we were there it was just me, hubby, and our son.  So I didn’t really get to “see” the other dishes.  Last night, we were a group of 9!  So imagine THE FOOD! Chef Scott came out several times to check on us and I was happy that he remembered to cook my food well done!  And I’m really glad that my friends enjoyed the food here.  Nasarapan silang lahat!

Here’s my Chili Roasted Pork Tenderloin again!  Yes!  I’m a creature of habit!  Oh and I ordered Mushroom Soup too before that! 😀

Hubby and Ria ordered BBQ Pulled Pork.

Mabelle, Thines, and Rina ordered the Enchiladas.

Veni’s Chicken and Mushrooms Alfredo Penne.

Japs ordered the Kalbi Chicken!  I forgot to take a photo and it looked so good too with the crispy bacon on top of his huge burger!  He offered some to us but he looked like he was enjoying it so much that we didn’t dare touch his food!  Ria, by the way, also tried the French Onion Soup and she loved it!  Didn’t get to take the photo of that too!

I managed to get a photo of Death by Chocolate though.  LOOK HOW SINFUL!!!

I wanted to try it but I’m taking it easy knowing my GD test results. 😉  Maybe after birth?

Here’s a fuzzy photo of the gang minus Ria who stepped in right after this photo was taken. 🙂

Excellent food at Scott and Binh’s!  Highly recommended! 🙂
