Shifu Dimsum House opened their third outlet in Phu My Hung and our Thursday Night Dinner formerly known as Board Game Night set out to this new restaurant.

With the sign saying that it’s meals starts at 19,000 VND, who can say no to that?

The restaurant opened just this week so they don’t have WI-FI yet.  And I guess they underestimated the space and so the aircon wasn’t so good.  If you’re eating dimsum with chili and congee, it can get pretty hot here.

Otherwise, the place looks nice enough with it’s no nonsense furniture — much like what you’d usually see in any Chinese noodle house with the added plus of cushions on the square stools.

The kids loved the swinging doors to the Relax Room. 😀

Here are our orders — Congee with Pork and Century Egg — all mine!

Reuben’s duck paired with rice.  He didn’t like it so much because it was a bit tough for a kid.  But that’s duck.  James had the same and he didn’t complain.

Hubby ordered the chicken.

Siopao or Pork BBQ Buns — Hubby prefers the one at Thao Li (read: more expensive) but this one’s pretty tasty and does not disappoint —

Love the Siomai but I’m sure it’s yummier if I could dip it in sauce — I couldn’t because I was swelling up. 😦

and this one I almost didn’t see in the menu — Hoanh Thanh Tom Chien!  Yahoo!

We tried some desserts too but the star really are the dimsums.

Will come back for the congee though!  That one was really good! 🙂
