Mung Chua Phuc Sinh!

Easter is not the same without attending Easter Mass.  So today, we went to Mai Khoi and celebrated Easter together with Fr. CJ and the community.

The mass was filled with heartfelt songs courtesy of the Music Ministry.  As always, the LoJ Music Ministry never fail to bring life and joy to the Mass.  Going to church is an uplifting experience every time with the inspiring homilies and the songs.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to receive Holy Communion because the Tabernacle wouldn’t open because the key was broken.

A locksmith even tried opening the Tabernacle during the end of the Mass but to no avail.  It just wouldn’t open!  It was like God playing a trick on us!

Remember Emily Dickinson’s poem, Hope?  The first verse goes —

Hope is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul,
And sings the tune–without the words,
And never stops at all,

Hope and faith do not have any a physical form like a tune without words but reside and resound in our hearts.

Though we didn’t have our physical fill of the Bread, we were rich in Faith today.  Christ is risen — He has filled our hearts with hope and joy!

A blessed, blessed day indeed!  Mung Chua Phuc Sinh!
