the restaurant has many flies and food is oily. but they have lots of variety. the wan tan noodle is soaked with msg.
Is this in Phu My Hung? Haven’t been back there. Good thing I don’t order wan tan noodle. 😀 But since this is Chinese food we are talking about, MSG is like kinda an SOP.
yeah, in phu my hung. Vietnam MSG is 2X of the Chinese. I’m loosing hair.

If anyone even thinks Shifu Dimsum is actually Chinese, they haven’t been to Cho Lon and the Shifu Dimsum are way, way to high for most of HCMC. Perhaps they just charge more because they are in PMH – a well known enclave for over-priced services.
Go to the Sixth Floor at the Hung Vuong Plaza and then you will know decent Chinese food can be bought at less than the dirty Shifu Dimsum. (Maybe I will call the food inspectors)
Totally agree that huong vuong plaza is a better place for dim sum. Excellent service too. And no flies
Thanks for the recommendation! Will try the one in Hung Vuong Plaza when I’m able. I’m just sharing about Shifu because some people like me (maternity leave) are unable to go out and this is just one of the few places who understand English enough for me to get dimsum. 🙂
