There are some material things that make me giddy with delight — a good book, music sheets that I can play on the piano, clean sheet of papers or a notebook neatly bound or beautifully covered, and knick knacks — lovely craft.

So you could imagine my happiness when I saw Creative Home in the Saigon Flea Market.  And last week, I was able to visit the shop they were sharing at Cafe Me in District 1!

It reminded me so much of Papemelroti back home.  I used to spend hours just browsing through their notebooks, figurines, and bought whatever my allowance could afford.

I would love to get this sign —
