Lookie here! Look where I wandered to last week.
And I so love their tagline, “Not all those who wander are lost.”
It’s so true! I wasn’t really lost. I was just wandering around. 😀
It’s an interesting small cafe with a rustic wooden theme. The pretty little flowers on the table gives the place a homey appeal despite the huge motorbike stuck on the wall by the cashier!
Across me where framed quotes hanging on the wall. Since I was in a reflective mood, these really make me feel that I wandered into the right place.
My friend, Ria, said that this is where the creatives usually hang out so it’s usual to see a group would come in and start playing the guitar.
The guy holding the guitar was really good and his voice was like that on the radio. I wanted to ask him the title of the Vietnamese song he was singing but of course I didn’t. 😛
Although it was nearing lunch when I came in, I only ordered a mango smoothie because it was all I could understand from the menu —
Ria said that they also serve lunch ala home-cooked which tasted good. Too bad I didn’t get to try ’em. And the price is affordable too based on this sign.
Oh an you know what? Since I just really meant to check out the place (I could hear my 2-month old son calling for me), I asked to get my mango smoothie to go — but the server said, “No. You have to drink it here.”
I could have insisted to get a to-go drink but surprisingly, I didn’t. I guess this was where I needed to be at that time. The server must have known I needed some time off. And 20 minutes later, Ria came by. We had a short talk but it was great to catch up with her. So I guess, I wandered into the right place.
