I wasn’t really looking for a bicycle bag for our electric bike because I know how expensive that can get.  But when I chanced upon Meryam’s bicycle bags through our email group, I just had to check it out.

The bags weren’t too expensive, waterproof, and were made from recycled rice sack.  The word “recycled” won me over.  😉  If there’s any way we can help lessen our carbon footprint, then I’m all for it.

What’s more is that I can now put stuff safely in the bags while biking without fear of somebody trying to grab my handbag on my front basket.   Heard lots of scary tales about bikers getting knocked off their bikes because of snatching incidents.  This way my stuff won’t look as enticing.  But honestly, if you see me on my bike, I’m probably just hauling grocery or books.

I like that the bags are colorful — they’re like warning devices when on the road.  You’ll be hard to miss with this one on.
