The Philippine Embassy in Hanoi has now released the schedule of their Consular Mission to Ho Chi Minh City this 2013:
March 16-17
June 22-23
September 21-22
December 14-15
The Consular Mission will process the following:
- Renewal application for passports
- New passport application
- Report of birth
To make it easier for everyone involved, you can now make an appointment. They’re accepting appointments for March now. All you have to do is email them at hnpe2000@gmail.com or consular_philembassyhanoi@yahoo.com.
The schedule is from 9 am to 12 noon and 1:30 pm t0 5 pm. The venue will be at the Philippine Consulate General 40-5 Pham Viet Chanh St., Ward 19, Binh Thanh District, HCMC. Only VND will be accepted for all transactions.

Just one question. How long does it usually take for the passport to be renewed? I have a flight booked on the 1st of june. Will the renewal be finished by then? Thank you 🙂
It should be. It takes 6 weeks.
