So one Saturday morning, through the help of my good friend, Jelda, we went to Universal Yoga to see how the “flying yoga” classes are done. I haven’t attended a yoga class for a long time now (Hi Daphne!) and I’m still wondering if I can with my condition (had CS operation almost a year ago).
We met Dr. Chandra the owner and yoga instructor. He’s in his early 30s and had much to say about the classes they offer and the benefits of yoga. To read my article on this, you can download the April edition of Oi magazine.
I was so jealous of Jelda because she did amazing poses! She’s kinda addicted to this so she was practically living in Universal Yoga.
Jelda started with flying yoga then made her way to floor yoga. Dr. Chandra said that it’s best to start with floor yoga first. All photos shared are all taken by Armi Deticio.
The orange ropes looked inviting but they’re pretty intimidating too!
Jelda began with easy poses then —
She said this was an easy pose but I have my doubts.
Dr. Chandra also showed us some poses too!
He showed us how to do wall yoga —
I think the best result for this type of yoga is helping relieve your spine.
They say this is the easiest pose, but still too scared to try.
Let’s see if the doctor approves. 😉
