Well, it has been back for a couple of months I think but have only gotten to visit the place last week. I was checking my old post on Shopping in Saigon, and I realized that Lucky Plaza isn’t back in the list where it should be.
So anyway, I love the Lucky Plaza now because it smells new and clean. 🙂
The building has elevators now!
Although the first floor looks empty, the second floor is almost filled with shops.
The shops now all looked neatly laid out. I hope it stays that way.
Still lots of stalls available in the 3rd floor.
Best of all, the toilets here are fully functional and clean!
I just hope this place will stay on. It’s the easiest shop to go to once you get off the Dong Khoi bus. Maybe Lucky Plaza is lucky after all. 🙂

ahh, the plaza near Dong Khoi bus stop. (I walked past this place every Sunday, on the way to Notre Dame Cathedral)
It’s been upgraded I see. Must go check it out if I ever visit HCMC again.
Back in 2010/2011, when I was stationed in HCMC, it was closed, then opened, then closed … for many months… until many people just lost interest in the place.
