My birthday was last week but couldn’t possibly celebrate because I had a full work day. I got home around 11 PM. Yes, it was work but there were some fun moments along the way so I can’t really complain.
So on a Saturday, we decided to eat out in honor of my xx’th birthday at the German Restaurant (Thanks Katrina for the reco!)
Thought the place would be crowded with lots of people drinking and smoking but there was no such thing. 🙂 Smoking can only be done outside the restaurant.
The restaurant was dimly lit with dining areas divided into booths for privacy. It also has a long table for a big group of people.
If you’re craving for some bratwurst or frankfurters or any German sausage, this is the IT place!
There are kid’s meals too! We got mac and cheese for Sam.
As for me, I’ve heard they serve Chicken Kiev so I got that. I’ve been missing my serving of Chicken a la Kiev at my uni’s The Chocolate Kiss! I am so happy to have found the Chicken Kiev here.
Surprisingly, the German Restaurant is a family restaurant so you can definitely bring the kids. It’s open till 10 PM and oh, they only accept cash.
I’m not sure if it was just the night that we visited that there was no house music, but the place could definitely need some music especially when there isn’t much of a crowd.
Other than that, if you’re craving for a German meal, you should definitely check this place out.
