In my few years of working in Vietnam, I have been blessed to have joined generous companies when it comes to office retreats. Last year, our company brought us to Anantara Resort in Thailand. And I was just 3 months with them then. ๐
This time, it was Anantara Mui Ne Resort & Spa. Our experience in Anantara Bangkok was exceptional and Anantara Mui Ne did not disappoint either.
When we arrived, the baby cot was in place already. And our room was spacious. There are no white lights here by the way. Since this is a resort & spa, all were low, warm lights.
I I was just not too fond of our open bathroom.
For a room with twin beds, you’d think that the bathroom would be more private. But it wasn’t so the kids could easily go in and out this area while we were taking a bath. This type of bathroom would be more logical in a double/queen/king rooms.
Good thing the flooring isn’t slippery so I wasn’t too scared of my boys walking around this area. Thankfully, the toilet is private. ๐
The tub came in handy when we had to bathe the boys together. No scare of one running off.
Aside from the mini-fridge that wasn’t exactly cooling our drinks, this weighing scale seemed inappropriate. ๐ Who wants to be reminded of their weight while on vacation? ๐
The L’Anmien Restaurant is where we had breakfast every morning on a selection of Western of Vietnamese dishes.
We sat outside the dining area so the kids won’t bother the other guests so much.
I love how the villas were sectioned off. Hope I can afford renting one in the future. ๐
Each villa has its own pool! Sweet!Me thinks the fruits in our room fruit basket came from the fruit-bearing trees found in the resort —
To keep everyone safe, the staff gatheredย the coconuts. ย ๐
It’s one long pool with different depths starting from 0.5 meters to 1.5 meters.
The kids can safely swim near where the adults are.
You can see the ocean from this area.
The beach area is wide and it was perfect for our office teambuilding activities but I have to say it so dang hot here during noon till 4pm.
The waters is swimmable and there are no jelly fishes. One evening, I saw workers with lamps cleaning the beach. I just hope the vacationers would be mindful of what they throw in the ocean.
We’ve been to Mui Ne 6 times and I have to say Anantara is one of my favorite resorts here next to The Cliff. ๐
