Last May 16 is Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution Day and with 200 Free Meals being offered by With Locals, we just couldn’t resist to book lunch! So we went ahead and booked Saturday lunch at Tiffany’s!Tiffany and her husband, Anh, welcomed us to their lovely home along with her 2 cats and 1 dog. This is Bon from London. 😉
Hubby with Tiffany’s other kitten.
Tiffany and Anh’s place doubles as their shop for interesting ceramic products (more on that later). So while Tiffany was busy preparing our 3 course meal, I was busy too — shopping. 😛
Here is Tiffany’s delightful kitchen. Isn’t it just awesome?
When they first rented the place, the house was in shambles but the couple turned it to a captivating little home.
Anh is a genius in refurbishing furniture and painting their home.
For lunch we had sauteed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrot with garlic. Veggies real fresh!
Piping hot Vietnamese sour fish with pineapple soup which took me back to our Phu Quoc trip —
And savory caramelized shrimp and pork belly —
Tiffany is a native of Ho Chi Minh City and learned how to cook from her grandmother.
Tiffany is a Hotel/Hospitality graduate and spent 2 years in Singapore as part of the course program. She has also worked for Park Hyatt Saigon and just most recently let go of her coffee shop.
She wants to focus on her business selling unique ceramic and porcelain products so she took a break from an 8-5 job.
Her equally talented husband is a photographer, videographer, and movie-maker. Oh and it was late when I found out that Anh is 1st runner up of Vietnam Idol way back in 2007 when it was first introduced in Vietnam. Can you imagine that?
Please go on ahead and book a lunch or dinner with Tiffany and Anh! We had an excellent experience! It was so easy coordinating with them and they let us choose from their 5 set menu. You can also request Vietnamese dishes you want to try! 😉
