The first consular mission this year 2015 is on March 14-15, 2015 (Saturday and Sunday).

The time is from 9 am to 12 NN and 1:30 to 5PM.

As in previous years, the venue will be at the Philippine Consulate General 40-5 Pham Viet Chanh St., Ward 19, Binh Thanh District, HCMC.

I don’t know why but since late last year, they’ve stopped making appointments and are now on First Come, First Served basis. 😦 At the start of consular services each day, you will have to get your number stub. Yeah, it means you have to be there in the morning to get a stub number. From what I understand, they’ll just give out the stub BEFORE 9 am.

If you’ve got kids with you or senior citizens, best to go on Friday, March 13 from 3 to 5 PM — where only senior citizens, pregnant women, and children under 18 will be accommodated.

The following can be processed during the mission:

• Renewal application for passports
• New passport application
• Report of birth
