I have heard stunning reviews of the newly opened Hotel Des Artes in District 1. In fact, our office even held an event there most recently. But it was only yesterday that I was able to try Hotel Des Artes’ Saigon Kitchen.

I am not sure if this place gets packed during weekdays but on a Monday, we were the only customers in this place — not that we were complaining. It was actually a terrific experience being looked after by the welcoming staff. The lunch buffet is superb.

They have different themes going on and yesterday it was Hanoian dishes. I’ve tried a number of the Hanoian salads (sorry no photo! Too busy eating!) and they were all good. I’m going to drag my husband here one of these days.
