I brought 2 Lenovo tablets for repair today at Lenovo Support at 45 Trang Quang Khai St. in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

The tablets are: S8-50 Tablet and Miix3 Tablet. The screen glass are broken but otherwise still working. I was quoted with the amounts: 3,000,000 VND (135 USD) and 4,200,000 VND (188 USD), respectively. Both are huge fractions of the prices of brand new units (200 USD and 300 USD respectively).

Furthermore, I brought the S8-50 just last year in September 2015 when the glass got broken for repair and only paid 1,000,000 VND (50 USD). This was in their original repair center in Saigon Trade Center in Ton Duc Thang St. The guy at Lenovo said that the price changes due to foreign exchange. In just over a year, the price of repair tripled?  *insert roll eyes here*

Rant over. Just wanted to get that off my system and if anyone out there knows where I can bring these two at a more reasonable repair price, please let me know.
